2018 Toyota Sienna AWD vs. Odyssey

2018 Toyota Sienna AWD vs. Odyssey

You’ve watched the experts compare the Toyota Sienna XLE with Limited package to the Odyssey Touring. Now, it’s time to hear it from a Mom-pert. I just made that term up, it didn’t come out as cool
as I thought but we’re going with it. Let’s do this thing. Did you know that the Toyota Sienna is the only
minivan in Canada that offers all-wheel drive? It’s great in snow. That’s a good thing, because
as we know it can snow in August here. Okay, not August, but maybe April. You know what minivan doesn’t have all-wheel drive? The Odyssey. You know what else the Sienna has that you
might not expect? Power. And the Sienna has it right where it counts. The Sienna has 296 horsepower –
more horsepower than the Odyssey. This Sienna also has bird’s eye view monitoring which gives you a panoramic view of the vehicle’s surroundings
on the touch screen display. I don’t know about you, but I didn’t expect
that from a minivan either. This is a minivan so we’re talking kids, strollers,
sports equipment, school bags, grocery bags, hockey bags, diaper bags, there are just so many bags! You know it, I know it – every inch of space counts. So, it’s great that the Toyota Sienna has a higher
maximum cargo volume than the competitor. Something else that you might not expect is that Sienna offers all of these safety features standard on all models. I like that too. Okay, we’re done talking about the Odyssey. Let’s go with a lightning round of features that are all
about making your life easier with the Sienna. You Ready? Let’s go. Power outlet? Of course. Double sided sliding doors? Yup. 8” Video screen? It’s 2018, so, yeah. Voice Activated Navigation? It’s got that, too. Take it from a “Mom-pert” yeah, I’m beginning to
like the sound of it – when it comes to minivans, you’ll find so much more than you ever expected
in the Toyota Sienna.
