7 Days to Die Base Tutorial | Build the best base in the game | Early Game Base Tutorial – Alpha 14

what is up guys 2handgaming here and today
im gonna show you how to build the best base in 7 days to die. Are you new to this game
and you wanna place you can safely put your stuff, while you go out and explore? Maybe
you are playing a game for a while and you are satisfied with your current base, or you
just wanna safe place to spent a night in without zombies tearing up your house down
and bothering you while you craft your stone axe and clubs. Well, this video is for you.
This base has been tested on early, middle and late game. It can also be upgradable for
you fashion people that like castles instead of safe simple bases. If you are just starting
the game, its gonna be a little harder for you because you lack proper tools, but dont
worry, stone tools can do the trick. Its just gonna take a while longer. So lets get started
shall we? So you just started the game. The first thing you gona do is gather some materials.
You are gonna need grass, stone and wood. So punch ahead. Ok you got your materials.
Now, your gonna need to find some kind of point of interest. Some sort of a town or
a village or something like that. That way, you can go out and get some cool stuff. So
now that you found your point of interest, your gonna have to go away from the edge of
the town. Just a little bit, so you dont attract zombies. Zombies are a real menace at the
start so stay clear of them. Big cities like this are spawnpoint for zombies and you dont
wanna be around them. Alright, you found your spot. This is where you’re gonna build a base.
Now, you need alot of stone axes. Thats where that stone grass and wood come into play.
Alright so now that you got a bunch of stone axes, your gonna need to craft some wood ladders.
So if you are missing some more wood go ahead and chop a few. You should get at least 60
ladders. Alright! Now that you got your ladders, make sure to spend all your points into miner
69er. Thats gonna help you dig faster. Because YES we are going down…into the ground. Find
a nice spot your gonna dig into and start diggin. Like i said this is gonna take a while,
but its worth it belive me. The zombies arnt gonna bother you anymore. You just go straight
down untill you hit the bedrock. Alright, so now you hit the bedrock. The next thing
you’re gonna need is to make a room. So, make 6×6 at least. Thats gonna give enough room
for your stuff. Alright, so now that you made your room. You are gonna have to use those
ladders so you can get up there. So put all those ladders up to the top. Alright…that
wasn’t suppose to happen. OK , so bugs happen…its ok. So now that you all those ladders up to
the top, you’re gonna need a trap door. So those zombies dont just fall down. Ok, you
got your trap door. This looks like a cozy place. But you are gonna say: Hey its not
so secure. Yea it isnt but Hey zombies arnt gonna see you anyway. You just gotta hop in
and you’re gone. Alright! You can also put barricades around this place. Alright, so
you made your traps around the entrance. You can also put blocks around it. But make sure
to put a door…and lock it. This way you can always upgrade your entrance. You can
make it bigger, stronger. Later when the game becomes a little easyer, you can make kind
of a yard here. A killing floor if you will. And kill all those pathetic zombies that dare
come in here! When you’re down here at the bottom, make sure to put those torches around.
It can be so dark in here. So there you have it. Simple but effective base. Zombies cant
even hear or smell you down here. Except for 7 day horde. Thats a little bit wierd. When
the 7 Day horde spawns, they know you’re down here. But they forget about you in a minute.
Thats why this base is so cool. You are down here making those stone axes and clubs and
they are up there roaming around trampling on your traps. I hope this guide help you
alot. This kind of base served me pretty well. Thank you guys for watching this video. Make
sure to hit that like button and subscribe. That is all from me guys. Il see you in the
next video. Peace out!

  1. Whenever I did a hole down, I can never put ladders to get out, it always gets put in the corner so I can't climb out

  2. Hey there, Have you tried this type of base since experimental 16 came out? I am really liking the concept of an underground base, but….what do you do to support the ceiling??

  3. When I get a nice PC I'm gonna make a youtube channel and you will be my inspirationβ€‹πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  4. I've noticed zombies digging in the dirt to get to me below can they breach the stone part once they're passed the dirt?

  6. I've watched every single one of your tutorial videos and I can't stop watching them even my brother learn stuff from them and he's a pro

  7. I built it but I can't come out of the hatch correctly. It's like I'm getting stuck on something and I have to keep jumping to get out. 50/50 I fall down my hole to my death lol.

  8. Thank you for making this my current home in the game is just a little house on the water so I'll try this and see how it goes

  10. ou wow I am going to do this and build huge under ground base why did my small narrow minded mind never think of this damn

  11. I use this base now lol but i need severe upgrades barely survived night 42 doing a rambo rampage with my good ole sawed off lol still a good few of my spikes broke, any tips? Thanks in advance!

  12. When I dig down I can’t put the ladders right where I can climb up luckily I had enough wood to make frames to jump my way out what am I doing wrong? And love your videos!! Also I play on PS4 so could that be a problem?

  13. I just started playing recently but I'm going to assume a lot has changed since this came out because I feel like there is no way on earth I could survive day 7 with this v.v on my first day 25 and had to make a new base because I almost got screwed day 21 from a similar base

  14. Ive built a "proper" bunker out of concrete and steel at height -33, with dozens of corridors and rooms.
Ive fortified the entrance above with triple hardened steel walls and electric traps. Then a corridor leading inside downwards,
Ive expanded the bunker with some underground gardens at the depth of -6 protected with wood frames…..zombies never broke any, tho it was planned to upgrade to steel bars (tested, -6 is the deepest you can plant the seeds, not -5), and a very long, round, lit up by electricity emergency escape tunnel towards a river with the exit under the river bed.
I dont have to exit the bunker to survive ever again.
While building the bunker, I came across at least 5 huge iron veins, which I maintain as my iron mines till depleted.
I only emerge from the underground to sell my crops to the trader every few days, and to do damage repairs on the above ground bunker entrance every few ingame weeks.

—now, I played also on a skyscraper, building a base there, repairing, defending,,,,,but after a long while zombies will break in. And its a ton of work to repair all the time. Just having a small bunker entrance is much more convenient to maintain.

CONCLUSION: You dont need to hit bedrock. Even a depth of minus 6 will stop the zombies from bothering you. My underground green houses never have been breached.
The zombies always attack the main bunker entrance, and they never even managed to get through the first defensive checkpoint. And by that I mean, Ive built choke points in the entrance tunnel with heavy 3 times reinforced steel Vault doors. 3 defensive checkpoints in the mountain untill you reach the main entrance to the bunker…but they never managed to get through the first one…always getting caught up on the spikes and electric traps lol.

I started building it around lvl 5, after scrapping my motel room and fleeing the first 7th day horde as they mauled through the motel…..that thing wasnt a good defensive idea for the night lol.
and I got to lvl 100 just by mining out the rock to make room for the bunker lol. And ive tens of thouands of iron, and a hundreds of thousands of stone.
Im planning to build an above ground base out of this material at some point somewhere else.
I started building it out of flag stone, easy and cheap to make even at lvl 1. But then I had so much iron, everything is reinforced concrete or steel.
Im shooting bullets or crossbow arrows just to turn on and off the tv lol.
I think no matter which spot you pick for your bunker, if you dig around layer -33, youre bound to find huge iron veins.

  15. so i spent 11 days on a base and still srtuggling from when he made this in 1 day and cheesed the horde wow nce vid!

  16. I made a base out of a house and upgraded everything, windows, doors, wood, fully iron upgraded cased it with barbed wire and spikes and had a bunch of mobile lights so I can see everything, then got a pistol and shotgun a bunch of ammo and got more from crafting and went ham on the day 21 horde.

  17. Can someone tell me if this still is a great idea in a17? Since points are more valuable now, should I really still spend it all in Miner 69er?

    Thanks!
