What is the difference between a new and used car?
A new car has a MSO (Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin) which determines whether the car
is new or used. It does not determine the vehicles mileage. All vehicles have miles
on them. If you see a new car that has 5, 15, 25 or on up into the 100’s in miles on
them, it does not mean that the car is used, it just means that it has not yet been titled.
If the car has been titled, this means it is a used car. This could save you thousands of dollars.
For example, in the year 2007, you could purchase a used 2007 model car and save thousands of
dollars. Be sure that you want a new car before purchasing. After you have purchased the car,
it has been titled and will then be used.
