How to Buy a Used Car : How to Negotiate Buying a Used Car

Hi, this is John Michaels with Expert Village;
today we are going to be about how to buy a used car. In this segment we are going to
be talking about negotiating for the price of a used car. Negotiating on the price of
a used car is just like negotiating on the price of a new car, and in some cases you
can get an even greater discount on the price of a used car than you can on a new car, depending
on where you are buying it and who you are buying it from. Everything is negotiable when
it comes to buying and selling a used car, including the warranties and including anything
else so be sure you ask for at least as much as a discount, once you have done your homework
to find out what that car should be priced at and see if you can’t strike yourself
a good deal. Keep in mind, having choices and options when it comes to buying a used
car will give you a lot more strength when it comes to negotiating so having a few cars
to look at it is really important when it comes down to sit down and put pen to paper
so that you can make yourself the best deal on another used car available.

  1. I don't think so. Here's a summary of the video – "everything's negotiable; know how much the car is worth; pursue multiple cars." Booo
