CHILD WAS BY HIMSELF AND CALLED 911. THE CHILD’S MOTHER, NICOLE SPENCER WAS ARRESTED THIS AFTERNOON. POLICE CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE WHAT LED TO THE CRASH BETWEEN AN NYPD CRUISER RESPONDING TO A CALL AND A MINIVAN. THE PATROL CAR ENDED UP ON THE SIDEWALK INJURING TWO PEDESTRIANS. LISA ROSNER HAS NEW VIDEO OF THE ACCIDENT. SHE JOINS US LIVE. Reporter: IN TOTAL, FIVE PEOPLE INJURED INCLUDING TWO OFFICERS. ALL RECEIVED MINOR INJURIES AND WE ARE TOLD THAT ALL HAVE BEEN RELEASED FROM THE HOSPITAL. YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE NEW SURVEILLANCE VIDEO. HOW THE NYPD SUV WOUND APPEAR ON THE SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF THE HEALTH STORE. THIS HAPPENED LAST NIGHT JUST BEFORE 10 PM. THE COP CAR WAS RESPONDING TO A CALL TRAVELING DOWN 13th AVENUE WHEN IT WAS STRUCK BY ANOTHER VEHICLE AT THE INTERSECTION COMING DOWN 52nd STREET. IN ADDITION TO THE OFFICERS TO 18-YEAR-OLD GIRLS ON THE SIDEWALK WERE INJURED AS WELL IS THE 40-YEAR-OLD MAN DRIVING A MINIVAN. WITNESSES DESCRIBED A MASS OF PEOPLE TRYING TO HELP THE INJURED. TWO GIRLS ARE UNDER THE CAR. ALL I SEE IS A COP ROLLING DOWN OUTSIDE, OPEN THE DOOR AND ON THE FLOOR ALSO. HE WAS KNOCKED OUT. A BUNCH OF PEOPLE WERE RUNNING OVER TO HELP. WE WERE TRYING TO PUSH THE CAR BACK. Reporter: THE PATROL CAR DID HAVE ITS FLASHING LIGHTS ON BUT IT IS UNCLEAR WHETHER ANY KIND OF SIREN WAS BEING USED. POLICE TELL US THEY ARE LOOKING
