Texas Ford Dealers present Ford Stories

A vehicle is more than a piece of machinery. It represents freedom, taking down boundaries. It keeps us safe and it’s something we can depend on. Ford is family and these are Ford Stories I am proud to drive a Ford. It’s an american-made vehicle and I like american-made vehicles. I’ve owned a number Ford’s over the years. From Galaxies to Torinos and approximately 50
Mustangs I had a 1990 Crown Victoria that I
bought when I was still in high school. My very first car, paid cash for it. Loved it, used it for over 400,000 miles and then, I sold it and that was still being
driven and I loved it. The first Ford that I ever got was my red F150. It’s exactly what I wanted. I was pretty much ready to run out the door with it. I’ve loaded it down with everything from equipment to parts to feed, to just a bale of hay or whatever I need in the back. I actually had a calf that was really
sick and he wound up riding around in the backseat of my truck for a little while but there’s just, there’s nothing that I’ve asked of that truck that it
hasn’t been able to do for me. My family has always been really loyal to Ford. And they’ve indulged me in my never ending love for Ford. So, I’ve been lucky to have many that have been purchased in my family and we still have them. And even though, two of those were purchased by my parents, I am now the proud owner of those and I keep and maintain them. And they have become family. My favorite Ford that I’ve ever owned would probably have to be, it’s either a toss-up between my 95 SHO and my 2018
Expedition. You know, if they had the technology they do now back then who knows where we’d be at right now. We didn’t grow up with a lot of money, we didn’t have a whole lot. And come home from school one day, and my dad had bought a brand new 79 model Ford. It was 150, that was the first new thing that we’d ever had growing up. I usually joke with my brother that I had Ford blue in my veins. Lots of family members have joined me in that belief, just because of my love for Ford’s and how I maintain them and how easily they’ve been very good to me. They’ve come to our side. They’ve come to believe. As far back as I can remember, it was
always Mustangs. I don’t know where it came from. Maybe just the styling but from day one it was always a Mustang. It’s funny how one truck can give you so
much to talk about. You can have, you can have so many, so many memories, and do so much work and have so much fun. I can’t imagine doing it in any other kind of vehicle. I’d kind of be embarrassed honestly, if it wasn’t a Ford.
