  1. I have this camera but there’s one thing I don’t like, I can’t use my rode microphone with it, you have to buy the rebel t7i instead then you can use a mic

  2. If better cameras were listed at the same price point they would sell more of them. It is very hard for anyone to really get any camera that is over $500 right now. Cameras for $399 will sell sooner and better than ones that run for $1500, simple economics. The people who buy the t7 are beginners or hobbyists. Pros are able to afford actual real good cameras.

  3. I bought the T7i and was thinking I got took as the price is almost double between the two cameras. But still good info. Thanks.

  4. What's Your Settings? This Video With Your Sets Was Amazing! Edit: You Were Using A Lens That Costs More Than The The camera Itself To Shoot That Cinematic Video Aren't You😒, I Mean Like There's No Point Of Reviewing A Budget Camera For Starters With A Lens That Is Way More Expensive Than The Damn Thing!😑

  5. 0:17 Just right off the bat "…or are people just going to BestBuy and asking the workers, what cameras should I get? And they go this has a lot of megapixels, buy this one."
That was me ☹️ …but not at BestBuy though ☝ it was at Visions Electronics 😂

  6. Hey Potato Jet—–I am a complete photography newbie…..I bought this T7 for pretty much the reasons you mentioned. I went to the best photography shop in my city—-they have been in business for over 80 years and EVERYONE goes to them rather than to those idiots in the Blue Shirts. Who know NOTHING. But even, using the basic lens that came with it—it WILL NOT work. I put it on "AUTO" and the movie came back "CANNOT READ MOV" and the sound coming out of it is HORRIFIC. It's like one of your dogs farting and I can smell it out here in Oklahoma. ANY SUGGESTIONS?? I really want to start learning how to take good photos and vids……….Thanks for your vids—–AWESOME! @pdubokc

  7. So, just my 2 cents, I have a Canon Rebel T5 and my friend has a Canon Rebel T6, and we both absolutely love our cameras for our uses, mainly amateur photography, and it was cheap as hell to buy. I have no need to get a brand new camera right this second, but if I did, i'd probably go with the T7.

  8. HI PATATO! YOU LOOK BETTER THEN THE TWIN! ANYWAY I WOULD LOVE TO RECORD MY OWN PROFESSIONAL WORKOUT VIDEO! IT WOLUD BE GOOD FOR ME TO RECORD MY SELF IN A 10 FEET WIDE AND 10 fEET LONG ROOM, I WOULD LIKE TO A CAMERA THAT I DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT FITTING EVERY THING IN THE PHOTO. THIS WOULD BE PERFECT FOR ME TO HAVE A CAMERA WITH THE CAMERA LENSE THAT CAN RECORD A PROFESSIONAL WORKOUT VIDEO, AS SHOWN WHEN PEOPLE ARE IN GROUPS ON YOUTUBE FILMING PROFESSIONAL WORKOUT VIDEOS.

  9. I'm good with my nikon. I love how Nikon's color spectrum is mostly on the dark side. Canon has lots of life but I still prefer nikon.

  10. If you buy the EOS 2000D trade or sell the standard zoom IS lens that come with it and buy The STM version you will not get any focusing noise on the videos sound.
This is a profession camera it has professional features you just have to know how to use them then any SLR whether film or digital is professional because the professional bit is the person using it I get better images with this than my mates EOS 90D.
The term professional Camera stems from advertising media and other promotional criteria is a psychological or brainwashing technique to sell more expensive equipment. We are all victims of Causality "Cause and Effect" and the biggest Causality is "The Why" there is no escaping it more gullible we are the more we are taking in.
Yes there are too many different camera models to chose from The Choice is the markets way of subjecting humans psychological response unless like Me"The One" who is not taken in by Causality which is why I use The EOS 2000 D I can assure you It is useful for any photographic applications whether amateur or Professionally Paid Photographer.

  11. now im just seeing this and i'm sure it was probably asked down there somewhere… but whats the name of the other lens that you used that you said was bought for 40$?? i just got this camera yesterday and i'm trying to find out what i can and cant do with it.

  12. The real problem is that we do not have the money you have, 399 is a great price for a DSLR and i think is worth it, one day i will not care to spend 2000 on a camera for now i am ok with the T7 is a great camera a recommend it

  13. I’m a black women who was trying to get into pro camera picture taking at 36 year’s old I was modeling but took a back seat lol think I stand a chance with this camera be honest y’all 🙏🏽 or do you think other?

  14. I bought the Fujufilm xt 100 for the same price . The kit lens from Fiji blows away the Canon’s away by miles. I would not put any more money into DSLR as it is slowly fading away.

  15. i remember my first dslr, the t2i (or 550D over here in the uk) and even now i would recoomend it as a first if someone wants to learn photography or get into video, suprisingly durable and has everything to get someone started, even now im using a 600d (t3i for you americans) and loving it after the howmany years of abuse its been through.

  16. My wife has a T3. Lens: 50mm and 55mm. She really enjoys taking pictures. But she is by no means a photographer. Is it worth upgrading to a T7?

  17. Just bought it for 329 euros so verry cheap, with a few parts extra included in the price, bag sd lens so i am happy he says its good to start for for photography. Tomorrow i get to enjoy it

  18. Should i get this with 18-85 + 50mm + 75-300 +maybe another prime lens or a fujifilm xt20 with a 18-55 or 18-85 kit lens?I am very confused about which to get because the xt20 is clearly a superior camera but i can afford way more lenses for the 2000d/rebel t7 thanks in advance.

Late edir:I might also consider a canon m50 with a manfrotto tripod rode videomic micro and a 18-45 kit lens

  19. I like your personality. You seem to very knowledgeable and informative. I am new…like new new.just got this camera lastnight new lol so will be checking out your stuff a lot!!!!🤙🏾

  20. My first camera was the T3i and I didn’t know crap. I learned a lot on that camera though. Entry-level cameras are where you do your learning. I still have that T3i and I put that same Sigma 18-35 on it and boy it’s buttery smooth with that good glass

  21. Hello Gene! I need your help. 🙂 I am primarily street and concert photographer, use Canon T6i. A few days ago I got an offer to photograph an event with sixty people. I have the following equipment: Lens: 50 mm 1.8, 24 mm 2.8, 18-55 kit lens and flash Godox TT350C (with two batteries) and two canon batteries.
Is this equipment good enough to photograph the event?

  22. Don’t stereotype Canadians because you have it all wrong lol i’m from Ontario Canada and don’t ever say “A” after a sentence. I speak exactly like you do and so does everyone else I know. You Americans also seems to think Canada is French when in fact most of Canada is not French. Unless you’re in Quebec most Canadians you run into will speak very little or no French at all. It’s sad how illiterate people can be with their knowledge of other countries and cultures. I have been to the US many times and although there are many stereotypes with that as well most of it is nonsense in my experience there. I think the same can be said any where you go. We’re all different and you’re not going to find a standard “ everyone’s the same” anywhere you look.

  23. I have a T6 as my first DSLR, and have taken some epic photos. Just bought a G85 for video content, but still learning.

  24. So for my first camera to take still pictures, This walmart special looks good to me. I have been waiting to see what i should get. My phone just can't do what i want anymore….. Love your video Potato master
    🙂

  25. summary: this car isn't a good motorcycle. This camera isn't a good videocam. Duh.. This spoon isn't a good fork, this chopstick isn't a good knife.
