You Won’t Believe Where This Mazda Was Made

rev up your engines hey guys this is Ali from Iran thanks
for scotty kilmer for giving me this chance to show off my daily driver this
is a 2011 mazda2 with hundred and six thousand miles on it this car has been
assembled in Iran as you may know Mazda 2 introduced into market in 1996 and the
first generation was under production until 2002 from 2002 to 2007 it has its
second generation this car is the third generation from 2007 to 2014 let’s take
a look at under the hood this is the engine with hundred and three horsepower and 135 newton meter of torque it comes in four engines two petrol engines and two diesel engines one petrol engine is 1.3
liters and the other is 1.5 which is this one and it has two diesel engines
1.4 and 1.6 liters this engine has a block and head of made of aluminium 16
valves and variable valve timing all the over the inlet valve
it’s a quiet nice and smooth engine and it’s quite reliable I didn’t do anything
is special to this engine I just changed the oil and the transmission fluid
the transmission is made by Ford and the code is for f2 27e 4 means it’s 4-speed
automatic F means it’s front-wheel drive 27 means it can handle 270 pound feet of
torque and it’s means it’s fully electronic it’s a quiet smooth and noise
transmission I didn’t have anything any problem with it I just changed the
transmission fluid and I switched it to s and release that button that’s all
button it’s just right now it’s on 1 2 & 3
gears again but in this case press fault it’s clocks on the second
year it’s quite nice when I Drive in snowy conditions
and not to have crazy wheel spin and for shifting to L I have to pull over and do
it on fully stop with pressing this big button I can save these gearboxes shifting
quite smooth and quite nice the average fuel economy of this car is thirty seven
point three miles per gallon but arm when I drive stp roads in mountains to
reach the city every day and back my fuel economy is something like ten percent
worse than that I was changing the oil every 5,000 miles
and I’ve done this up to ninety thousand miles then I realized that the engine is
getting old and I should take a better care of it then I switched to
traditional three thousand miles in a while and I use 5w30 fully synthetic my
car is right now eight years old but the look of the car is still good and looks
modern and the interesting thing is in back in 2008 he was awarded as the World
Car of the Year thank you all for watching my video and again a special

  2. In the end, no matter what country you live in and your beliefs, there are everyday people trying to live their lives. And they need good cars to make it around. I know Scotty doesn't like Mazdas too much, but hey, at least it wasn't a Chrysler!

  3. Good Man Scotty! showing that people around the world are the same, its the damm goverments that get in the way! greetings from Argentina.

  4. Yes, Iranians are nice people, like other people around the world. Just don't wear skimpy clothing and try to dance in the streets. Someone will likely stop you.

  5. My mom had a 2012 Mazda 2 and It had 50K miles on it and we traded it on a 2012 Honda CR-V. She only did two oil changes in 50k miles and it still worked. It had the 4 speed automatic transmission. we live in america so they stopped making that car here. I wish they didn't because it was a fun, reliable little car but we needed something bigger for shopping and family trips. we had the car from 2012 to 2019.

  6. It's great to see that two enemy countries' citizens can still reach each other, appreciate each other and collaborate as well.. Thank you Scotty Kilmer. Thank you Ali.

  7. Interesting that these generation of 2's were assembled in Iran. In the UK these cars were imported from Japan as is the case with the current generation 2.
